FORD TRANSIT VAN BUILD
Drivers Side View

Van Design Overview
Ryan designed the layout and details for our van build using the program SketchUp. It provides the flexibility to be able to drill down into the layers of your van build with ease. These first two photos (left and right) offer a complete overview of our proposed build.
Our plans include a RIB SCOPEMA ALTAIR 2 passenger bench that can convert to a seat bed or day bench. While we will not have a shower or bathroom, we will include a portable Laveo Dry Flush toilet in case of emergencies! In the garage area under the bed, we will have an electrical cabinet on the drivers side and a cabinet on the passenger side for the water tank, propane tank and on-demand water heater.

The kitchen area will have a 2-burner gas stove top, sink and small counter-top space, with cabinets above and below for storage. Behind the drivers side and bench seat, will also be a floor to ceiling cabinet with a marine fridge and additional storage.

The electrical box will contain 3-200Ah lithium phosphate batteries, inverter and 3- DC-to-DC chargers to store and convert power for all of our power needs! All of our cabinet framing and bed platform will be built out of 80/20 extruded aluminum to reduce weight.
